...finally got done with her.


Spitfire's body is sewn out of a super soft yellow minky, with a mane and tail made from a light mango, and bright orange minky, and are both attached to the body by hand stitching. Her eyes and cutie mark are beautifully machine embroidered for a professional and stunning look. Spitfire is stuffed relatively firm to maintain her shape, but is still very hug-able. On the bottom of her left hind hoof is my DeviantArt name embroidered for authenticity, but is not visible when she is standing upright.

Spitfire's jacket is made from a light navy denim, which is removeable by metal snaps on her neck. The white undershirt is made from cotton, and the tie from dark grey denim. Her uniform pins are made from Super-Sculpey clay which has been painted with acrylic paint to match each pins' design. Safety pins are attached on the backside of each pin so they can stay on her uniform.

Her aviator sunglasses are truly one of a kind; they are made of 1/8th inch acrylic plexiglass painted silver metallic, and the lenses have been dyed purple. Everything is attached with plastic epoxy, ensuring a very strong bond along the joints, and they can swivel shut when taken off.In the end of the arms, and the bridge between both lenses, there are three rare-earth magnets that are very strong and easily support the sunglasses on her head.
