Derpy is made from a light charcoal minky that is very soft to the touch. Her mane and tail is also made from minky which is a light yellow in color. Her tail has internal wiring support in the uppermost portion to enable it to stand firmly without sinking. The mane and tail are both attached with hand stitching.
Her eyes and cutie mark are beautifully machine embroidered for a professional and stunning look. Derpy's wings are lined with buckram for support, and have internal wire to make them pose able. Derpy is stuffed relatively firm to maintain her shape, but is still very hug-able. On the bottom of her left hind hoof is my DeviantArt name embroidered for authenticity, but is not visible when she is standing upright.
Her scarf is made with two colors of minky: a snow-white, and light pink. It can easily be removed and readjusted.
Her hat is made from navy and black minky, with a cord that is attached to slip under her mane to keep it in place, and on the front is an embroidered envelope.
Derpy's saddlebags are made from a brown micro-suede that is lined with black minky. They can hold one envelope on each side, and can be closed with metal snaps on the inside.
Her two envelopes are made out of minky, are embroidered, and have magnets in the top right corners to be able to be held by Derpy on her mouth, which also has an internal magnet.
to start you did wonderful work, i had a hard time finding flaws, but you wanted a critique so here it is : the ears seem too big and dis portioned to the face as well as the eyes. also derpys snout seems far too small then again it could be due to the proportion to the eyes. the color of derpys body seems... iffy, it seems close to the right color but a little dark, and as for the hat i dont understand the rope-thing, you have you could have tucked it under derpys chin or did away with it all together with a magnet, i personally think making it longer and tucking it under the chin would have been the better of the two.and finally the buttons, i think you could have done them in the material you used for the rest of the make of derpy, my attention is drawn to it and makes me look away from your other detail work. be aware i do not claim to have your skill and i would love to buy this, you are a great artist and i hope to procure one of these items from you my self
You did a awesome job on her! Love the letters and the hat. If I save up enough money from commissions, (which would take a while) I would definitely buy Derpy here.
